Alex Bedig
Intern
Alex works for the Water Resources and the Climate and Energy programs at the SEI-US center in Boston. He works with Charlie Heaps and Jack Sieber developing computer-based tools to assist in long-range scenario planning. Presently, he is working on improving the hydrology capabilities of WEAP, adding multiple-user data development features to LEAP, and developing new features on the www.energycommunity.org and www.weap21.org websites.
Alex received a B.S. in Engineering Sciences from Tufts University in 2008, and will finish an M.E. in Water Resources Engineering from Tufts University in 2010. His Master's Project is the development of a deterministic non-point source runoff model built with GRASS GIS and designed for use with remotely sensed data in data sparse regions of the world.
In his spare time, Alex enjoys soccer, cycling, ping pong, and California cuisine.
