Amanda Fencl
Analyst
Amanda currently works for the climate and energy program at the Boston office of SEI-US. She works with Bill Dougherty to carry out national and international climate change adaptation and vulnerability studies. Prior to joining SEI, Amanda worked for the Tufts Climate Initiative and Office of Sustainability on an array of campus greening and outreach projects. She also spent five months in Madagascar studying ecology, conservation, and sustainable development. Her interdisciplinary senior honors thesis explored the relationship between microcredit, social-ecological resilience, and sustainable development in Tulear, Madagascar.
Amanda was a 2006 Morris K. Udall Foundation Scholar, a 2007 StartingBloc Global Institute for Social Innovation Fellow, and received her B.A. in International Relations and Environmental Studies from Tufts University in 2007.
